About the Instructor: Mr. Foster started his martial arts training on March 1st 1975 in shotokan (JKA) under Mr. Paul Jackson. After it’s closing Mr. Foster trained in shudokan. Later another instructor took over the school and Mr. Foster assisted in operations and teaching. In 1997 Mr. Foster joined Mr. E. Ron Rollins studying goju ryu and shuri ryu until his passing in 2008. Currently Mr. Foster is under the guidance of Mr. C. Michial Jones and is a member of Okinawan Gojuryu Karate-do Goeikai USA and Zen Ryukyu-Den Kobujutsu Hozonkai. He holds a 5th dan grade from Mr. Rollins. Mr. Foster is a life long resident of Jacksonville IL where he resides with his wife Carol. He has 3 adult children, 8 grandchildren, and 1 great grandson. He is a quality control technician for United Gilsonite Laboratories.
